Mid-level Java Test Automation Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a Mid-level Java Test Automation Developer with test automation experience.

Test automation developers (also known as test automation engineers) are software developers who design and write programs that run automatic tests on new or existing software. They use automation frameworks (standardized guidelines) to build these programs on and write test scripts that do the testing.

Responsibilities

• Designing and writing test automation scripts
• Using test automation frameworks
• Investigating problems in software as a result of testing
• Working with QA analysts and software developers to find solutions

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Java Test Automation engineer or similar role, 2-4 years
• Mathematical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Up-to-date knowledge of test automation software like Selenium and TestNG
• Teamwork skills; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Good time-management skills
• Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends
• BSc in IT Systems, Computer Science or relevant field
