AWS Certifications Listing

AWS credentials are offered in two main categories: Core Certifications and Specialty Certifications.

AWS Certifications require extensive training and successful execution of the AWS exam. Certifications are valid for three years. To maintain AWS Certified status, practitioners need to periodically demonstrate continued expertise through a recertification process. Recertification helps strengthen the overall value of AWS Certification and shows that a credential covers the latest AWS knowledge, skills, and best practices.

AWS Core Certifications

AWS core certifications span three knowledge areas: architecture, development, and operations.

Certificates in these areas are offered in progressive skill levels: foundational, associate, and professional. The foundational level, known as a Cloud Practitioner, is the first certificate that can be attained. This is the only certificate that can be awarded remotely through a proctored exam.

AWS Specialty Certifications

AWS specialty certifications further validate advanced expertise in targeted IT disciplines. Certificates include:

  • Advanced Networking,
  • Security,
  • Machine Learning,
  • Alexa Skill Builder,
  • Database and
  • Data Analytics.
